A personal note from John A. Rinaldi to you:
Hello - I'm glad you've visited my site. Sometimes it's hard to believe I've been in business for more than 47 years!
I've had the privledge of designing hundreds of homes, apartment buildings, condominiums and commercial jobs, and I feel a great sense of satisfaction because it has given me a chance to make life better for my clients, with well-designed, and well-planned projects.
I earned my architecture degree from the University of Southern California, and then as well as now, I feel everything about architecture is exciting. My career has been varied, and I like it that way.
My NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) registration allows me a reciprocal license to practice architecture in all 50 states and Canada, and I have completed projects outside California in Oregon, Nevada and Indiana.
I've been in the building industry almost my entire life, becoming a Journeyman Plasterer through the 4-year union training program, while attending junior college and I am also a California licensed General Contractor so I can take my jobs from the drawing board to completion on the job site. I literally understand the building process from the ground up having personally worked in all phases of construction.
I've designed projects from a fish hatchery to a maximum-security prison, and I while have been able to work with all kinds of interesting clients, a few of them have been quite notable, some of which were:
Although I practice throughout the state and into adjoining states, I now live in Atascadero, on the Central Coast of California. It's been home for more than 26 years, after spending most of my life in Southern California, and I enjoy the area very much.
- Rainbird Irrigation
- Peter Cetera (of the rock group Chicago)
- Carlo Ponte and Sophia Loren
- Fleetwood Mac
In addition to my architecture, I'm a professional delineator, working mostly in watercolors (click here to see watercolor rendering examples), and I took some fine art classes at Chouinard Institute before it became the California Institute of Fine Arts.
Overall I feel extremely fortunate for the varied and exciting career I've had, and I look forward to putting my experience and love of what I do to work towards any project. You can call: 805-466-5896 or Email me.
